LIBRARY TO OPEN AT 11:30 ON SUNDAY

PLEASE NOTE SYSTEM DOWNTIMES THIS WEEKEND

Library services not available during ITS system maintenance this weekend

Sat. 6 to noon - ITS has alerted the community about the system maintenance this Sat., Oct. 31 from 6 a.m. to noon. This also means no access to library services from off campus. EZProxy, used for off-campus authentication will be down for the system maintenance.
Sunday 5 a.m. to noon - In addition, on Sunday, our MacLinks (SFX) system will be undergoing system maintenance from 5 a.m. to noon.
We are alerting the community now so that you can plan ahead this weekend. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause.

What does open access mean for you as an author and a scholar?

There will be an overview of Green vs. Gold publishers, federal legislation that has led to an open access mandate for NIH publications, and an update on FRPAA (Federal Research Publication Access Act of 2009.)
